Going somewhere and need the low down on what and how to bring your natural wellness arsenal? Here are some tips; add yours in the comments!
Can I bring oils on a plane?
Yes! And you should! In carry on luggage, you are allowed to bring a quart-size bag with liquids up to 4 oz each, so this is where I put my oils. (Others don’t bother with this and say that they are medications which aren’t required to be in a bag.)
In that quart bag, some of the most important things to include are:
AromaEase (a drop behind each ear for motion sickness)
#allthethieves Thieves spray, Thieves hand purifier, Thieves wipes (have you seen how dirty those airplane seats are?!!), etc.
Peace & Calming, Valor, etc. for yourself or others who may need them for calming or bravery. (P&C is very handy in case there’s a screaming child on the plane. I offered it to a mom whose toddler was screaming and she was asleep a few minutes after the oil was applied.)
NingXia Red packet(s) and NingXia Nitro for hydration, antioxidants, and energy
DiGize for tummy stuff
Grounding oil. This is a MUST to prevent jet lag. Apply to feet after a plane ride.
Peppermint oil helps cool you down which can help if the plane temp is too warm or also for motion sickness.
Other helpful things for traveling to stay healthy
Bon Voyage kit! This helps you avoid the toxins in hotel products and makes it easy to bring YL products on a trip!
Diffuser! Gotta have one of those for hotel rooms/home rentals! Calming oils for bedtime; Purification if room is stinky, etc.
Mineral Essence: Traveling can be stressful (in either good or bad ways or both)! This quickly depletes magnesium so to enjoy your trip without a headache, migraine, muscle aches/twitching, etc., bring some ME! I personally bring an unopened bottle with me (in a plastic bag and wrapped in padding in checked bag) and keep in a hotel refrigerator (but it’s fine out of refrigeration for a few days if needed).
Life 9/MightyPro to keep immune systems and tummies functioning well!
Digestive enzymes like Essentialzymes-4 for helping with tummy/digestive things that often happen when eating out on vacation.
First aid stuff: Cistus (for stopping bleeding), Owie, Copaiba (for any type of inflammation), Exodus II or ImmuPower, etc.
Sleep support/melatonin supplements if needed: Sleep Essence softgels and/or ImmuPro chewables.
Pro tip: Don’t bring a full bottle of an oil if you won’t need it all. Put what you will need in another bottle just in case and leave some at home.
I bring so many more things than this; these are just the basics! What am I forgetting? What are some of your must-have YL travel accessories?
