I don’t want to say much on this very tender topic, but I want to help propose some thoughts for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ whose children are considering entering the military after graduation. Here are 5 reasons that I would propose to my own children or those people I love to consider before entering the military:
1. RAPE
A woman in the military is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire,” said Rep. Jane Harman of California. She said her “jaw dropped: when military doctors told her that 41% of the female veterans seen at a veterans hospital reported being sexually assaulted while in the military.

2. Vaccine/Drug Adverse Effects
Countless chemical disease injections (vaccines) responsible for permanent, lifelong injuries or death that can prevent some personnel from ever being deployed.
“A new recruit to the Armed Forces receives a minimum of 10 vaccines – and these 10 are given 3 times – for a total of 30 vaccines received. And the vaccines often are combined and given in one or 2 shots, meaning a recruit will get between 5 and 10 vaccines in one injection. Medical studies have shown that the more vaccines a person is given in combination, the more dangerous they are to the recipient.
And these are only the ones that the military “admits” they are giving to the new recruits. There are many rumors that new untested vaccines are given to these young men and women, without their knowledge or consent. They are nothing more than involuntary research subjects – otherwise known as “guinea pigs.”
Gulf War Syndrome that has 1) made thousands of military personnel terribly ill, 2) is contagious, having been transferred to the man or woman’s spouse, and 3) has caused horrendous birth defects in their babies, appears to be caused by a combination of experimental vaccines given to the troops, coupled with exposure to depleted uranium.”

“It’s harder to live with these illnesses than if I was shot in combat.”
Julia Dyckman, Retired U.S. Navy Captain, whose now has debilitating problems including brain lesions to dissolving neck bones from her first military shots.
A former Marine said this about the shots:
I experienced the measles as a child. I also had mumps, whooping cough, chicken pox and something called the fifth disease. I got through them and my immune system got stronger. Yes, my mother had to put up with my complaints, and babysitters had to stop me from scratching my red bumps, but I didn’t die, and I wasn’t debilitated or diagnosed with another disease. It wasn’t until I entered the Marines and was inoculated for every disease imaginable that my body reacted negatively with erythema in multi-form, nodules, vascular impairment, nerve damage, and paralysis.
Few people realize the extent of vaccine-induced disease, impairment, and death.

The New York Times covers the story of a 2-year old boy who came down with smallpox who contracted it from his father who had just been vaccinated for it for entrance to the military and, upon coming down with smallpox, was sent home where his son contracted it. The article states:
Experts said the father, who had eczema in childhood, should never have been given the vaccine because that fact made him more susceptible to side effects like vaccine infection. And they said military doctors should have been doubly cautious because the son, too, suffered from eczema and would have been highly susceptible to infection.

3. Becoming A Guinea Pig Slave
Serving a government that uses you as a chemical and warfare guinea pig–to promote their experiments and their political agenda which is not based on God’s principles is another thing to consider before fighting for your country. For instance, many of us know that the reasons given in the media for “terrorist” attacks and embassy threats are very different than the actual situation.
Before entering the military, I encourage everyone to research Agent Orange. During this attack on Vietnam that subsequently caused the U.S. government to be charged with illegal war crimes, military personnel were forced to spray huge amounts of chemicals, such as those now being sprayed on our farm fields and lawns, onto Vietnamese land. Three generations later, children of these military personnel and Vietnamese people still have related diseases (especially cancer), birth deformities, and repeated problems with miscarriages/infertility. I personally grew up with a young woman whose dad had served in Vietnam and she was born without an arm and only small fingers protruding out of her shoulder. These military men that sprayed these chemicals came home only to cause their wives to have problems conceiving or maintaining a pregnancy. And many successful live births these families did have were babies with deformities.
Go ahead and google images to Agent Orange. I won’t post them here because they are extremely hard to look at. Do you really want your child to serve the government that does not care what they are doing to their own people, only to advance their agenda? The same government that was charged with illegal war crimes is still allowing these chemicals to be sprayed on suburban lawns, playgrounds, and farm fields everywhere and deceptively convincing its own people that these things are safe.

4. Permanent Psychological Illness
Of the 1.6 million U.S. soldiers who have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, 18-20 percent – or around 300,000 – show symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression or both, said Thomas Insel, head of the National Institute of Mental Health.
At least one in six service members is on some form of psychiatric drug. And many troops are taking more than one kind, mixing several pills in daily “cocktails” – for example, an antidepressant with an antipsychotic to prevent nightmares, plus an anti-epileptic to reduce headaches, despite minimal clinical research testing such combinations.
The drugs come with serious side effects: They can impair motor skills, reduce reaction times and generally make a soldier much less effective. Some of the drugs double the risk for suicide. Malaria medications, for instance, have been found to cause psychological illness in 50 percent of people who receive them.
“It’s really a large-scale experiment. We are experimenting with changing people’s cognition and behavior,” said Dr. Grace Jackson, a former Navy psychiatrist.
5. Mark of the Beast
“Today, America would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government.” — Henry Kissinger
In case you aren’t aware of who Henry Kissinger is, he was a National Security Advisor and Secretary of State that has for decades called for a New World Order.

I’m not claiming to be an end-times scholar or theologian, but consider this: John warns us in Revelation about the Mark of the Beast and people being forced to receive it (Rev. 13:16) and that the Beast “deceived the inhabitants of the earth” (Rev. 13:14).
Now the Bible even tells us THE WAY in which people will be deceived: “…because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery .” Remember the Greek word for “sorcery” is “pharmakeia”–where “pharmacy” comes from. (See my post In Medicine We Trust for more info on the definition of pharmakeia.)
It’s very likely that there could be a connection between the enemy’s deception through pharmakeia (such as vaccines) and the mark of the beast. In fact, a drug-releasing microchip is now being tested for use to track a person’s intake of prescription drugs.

Other drugs that could potentially be delivered in this manner include chemotherapy, fertility hormones, and vaccines.”

There are many other reasons why I would encourage fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to reconsider joining the military. Since Satan does not have (or need) any new tactics, I think learning history is a good way to prevent repeated deception. Consequently, I encourage our young people to know stories of people like Patrick of Ireland (commonly referred to as “St. Patrick”) and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. In “Let Me Die In Ireland,” Patrick watches his people turn from faith in God and put their faith in political allies for their safety. The consequences are strikingly similar to the outcomes we experience today.
When hearing of a newly-formed alliance between Britain and the evil, murdering Saxons, Patrick says something that exposes a flaw with our military tactics today:
“I think the biggest problem our nation is facing right now is its lack of faith. Most of our people profess to be Christians, but very few of them trust God anymore. They certainly aren’t turning to God in this hour of crisis…
So we’re putting our trust in an alliance with people who don’t even know God? If my memory serves me correctly, that’s exactly why God punished the Israelites. They put their trust in foreign alliances instead of in Him.”
Let Me Die In Ireland by David Bercot
Dietrich Bonhoeffer watched Protestant Christians fall under the hypnosis of Hitler who were praising Hitler and adopting the Aryan Clause. He was arrested and hanged for leading activities proclaiming that Jesus alone is Lord and that loyalty to Hitler was idolatry. Why do I cite this example too? Well because it’s becoming quite clear that many “Christians” have more faith in their government and military to protect them and make laws that they like rather than trust God and further His kingdom.
And the sad part is that many of our young people just want to humbly serve and sacrifice for a worthy cause. I tip my hat and thank everyone who has or is selflessly serving America. And while they are bravely willing to accept whatever consequences come to them for their selfless service, I don’t think these are the ones they have in mind.
When evangelists and missionaries went to places that were filled with immorality, murder, drunkenness, and other problems, they didn’t make war. They presented the gospel! There is nothing more worthy and sacrificial than proclaiming that Jesus alone is Lord and that any other loyalty is idolatry. So rise up young people and give your lives to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ, in whatever field He sends you out in!
