Years ago, my husband and I used to have the same conversation every evening on his way home from work. “What should I pick up from the store?” “I don’t know, what should we have for dinner?” “I don’t know. What do you think we should have?” For 20 minutes, we would go back and forth, brainstorming a dinner idea. What we ended up with was nothing close to healthy and often not even very delicious!
A lovely Christian woman recently brought to my attention that some of my Facebook fans already know how to eat healthy; they just don’t always have time to plan healthy meals for the week. As she said,
“Getting help with meal planning would save me from overthinking and wasting time on trying to plan meals – I usually STOP planning before I ever finish. By not having meals planned out for my weeks, even with healthy food in my house, I allow WINGING it nightly to stress me out!”
She goes on to explain how it would actually save money to pay for menu planning services:
“If I had my menu planned out for the week I’d probably spend LESS money at the store. Going to the store without a game plan for meals is basically a waste of time and more costly. Buying without a clear purpose…I need to work on that one! I tend to buy more snacky type foods – organic still has CALORIES!”
Can you relate?! Well, I’ve designed healthy, whole foods Menu Planning Packets! Each weekly packet (emailed to you in pdf form) is designed around eating varied, nutritionally-dense whole foods and includes the following:
7 Main Dish Recipes
A list of dozens of snack ideas
2 snack/dessert recipes
A list of dozens of lunch ideas
2 lunch recipes
1 breakfast recipe
1 brunch recipe
Printable grocery list
Shopping tips for each week’s items
Printable menu
Each weekly packet’s recipes differ from the other weeks and packets can be purchased in any order. Additionally, there are specialty seasonal packets for those who like to shop at the farmer’s market and/or eat what’s in season or on sale.
You simply print this packet off, pick and choose from the lunch and snack ideas to fill in your menu, fill in the grocery list, and head to the store!
While, these recipes are designed for families who are familiar with a whole foods lifestyle, they could be used by anyone. If you’re even slightly handy in the kitchen and know where to find whole foods at the grocery stores, these menu plans will give you that extra boost to make deliciously healthy meals all week long!
I would recommend that anyone who is experiencing current health problems check out my page on Personalized Nutrition Counseling: http://healthyfamiliesforgod.com/nutrition-counseling-wellness-education/
Since these Menu Planning Packets are based on a whole foods lifestyle, they do include recipes that take a little time in the kitchen. They are not recipes that include pre-cooked chicken products, condensed soup, and minute rice. I try and vary the recipes each week so that there are some easy, slow-cooker recipes, as well as some that take a bit more time.
Most of the recipes in each weekly packet are either grain/gluten-free or have notes on how they can be adapted to be both gluten- and grain-free. I will possibly have menu packets available specifically for those diets in the future.
All recipes are free of refined sugar, vegetable oils, etc. and use only whole foods.

NEW! 40-Day Challenge Menus, Recipes & Grocery Lists
I am now offering the weekly menus and completed grocery lists from the 40-Day Challenge in one package for $20. If you’d rather just have the menus and grocery lists for the 40-Day Challenge, you can now order it without joining the Challenge. (On the other hand, if you’d like to join the challenge and have the daily e-newsletters for accountability, please see the page tab above for the 40-Day Challenge.)
This packet includes 5 packets of menus, completed grocery lists, and recipes for 40 days. Most, if not all, of the recipes in this packet are grain- and gluten-free or have grain/gluten-free options. Since the packets for the 40-Day Challenge already have completed grocery lists, all you need to do is print off a packet each week before you go grocery shopping and get your groceries! And with 40 days of menus planned, you could reuse this over and over and never have to do any planning!
Once you place your order through Paypal, I will receive a payment notification from Paypal. I will then email your packet to you in pdf form right away!

Disclaimers:
(I offer these products at a small cost for a couple of reasons. My first job is as a homeschooling mom to five children. Since my husband works two 40-hour/week jobs and sleeps very little to make this possible, I currently do this job without having my husband home much to help with the children. We live very basic lives–we do not have internet-capable cell phones, cable television, nice vehicles, new clothes, etc. (Although we know we are rich beyond comparison!)
Consequently, my hope is that the time I take on producing resources such as this will help alleviate some of the financial income responsibility on my husband. I also hope they will be a blessing to those purchasing them! Thank you for your support and your efforts to create a society that honors God with their bodies!)
